Sundaymagazine was formed in 2022 and consists
of three members: Aut (vocals and bass), Leo
(guitar), and Chong (drums). The band draws
inspiration from a wide range of artists, including
U2, Joy Division, Tears for Fears, and The Japanese
House. As a result, each of their songs carries a
unique character, unbound by a single genre,
creating a distinct and recognizable sound that is
entirely their own.
A great example of this is their latest single, Sundae Party, where the guitar lines echo a post-punk influence, seamlessly blended with vocals enhanced by Auto-Tune.
Another track, Everything Seems So Shiny, showcases their Britpop inspirations, both musically and lyrically.
The song explores themes of disappointment and personal growth through the eyes of a young man who begins to question the things he once believed in.
